If there is such a thing as the “best” radar detector then it has to be the valentine one.
This device has built a tremendous reputation not only based on its price, but its ability to function as a radar detector. The device has many capabilities including the ability to point arrow alerts in the direction of the L, X, Ka super wide bands, police lasers and police radar traps. This is the only device with the capability of front and rear antenna providing circumferential 360” radar detection.
While there are many reports on how great the Valentine One is for long distance radar detection, it probably works best up to 3 miles. The device has an outstanding ability to pick up speed traps and radar signals over hills and corners.
One of the minor negative with the Valentine one is that it picks up too many false alerts. This is partly because of its superb sensitivity. Currently the Valentine one is the best laser detector on the market. The device is easy to install and costs about $ 450
